Over 25 Years Dedicated to Integrated Health and the Mind

iSIM – Instituto Simone Marangoni was born from the conviction that human physical, cognitive and emotional functioning cannot be understood in isolation. Founded by neuropsychologist Simone Marangoni (CRP 06/56505), a Master's in Psychology with more than two and a half decades of continuous clinical practice, the institute has become a reference center for integrated neuropsychological assessment in São Paulo, having directly assisted more than 5,000 clients across their various stages of development.

Our theoretical foundation understands the mind as an interconnected network of dynamic functional systems. We recognize that processes such as sustained attention, working memory, executive planning, language and affect regulation are built through a person's ongoing relationship with their cultural, biological and social environment. For that reason, our care is never limited to the mechanical application of standardized tests — it goes deeper, into a global understanding of how each individual experiences their daily life.

An Integrated Approach: Mind, Body and Environment

We believe true mental health results from the balance between biological factors, neuropsychological processes and socio-emotional dynamics. At iSIM, we investigate not only evident cognitive performance, but also metabolic aspects, sleep patterns, nutrition, hormonal regulation and interpersonal relationships. This integrated model ensures that referrals and interventions are precise, eliminating trial and error along the therapeutic path.

A Structured, Evidence-Based Methodology

All of iSIM's work is conducted through clinical protocols recognized by professional councils and validated by international scientific literature. The team works in an interdisciplinary way, holding joint case studies among neuropsychologists, physicians, psychiatrists, endocrinologists, clinical psychologists and neuropsychopedagogues. This constant technical exchange results in robust reports, safe differential diagnoses and efficient treatment plans.

In-Person Care in Pinheiros and Online

To provide comfort, security and accessibility to our clients, iSIM has two units in the traditional Pinheiros neighborhood in São Paulo: at Rua Teodoro Sampaio, 744 (suite 16) and at Avenida Rebouças, 2636 (2nd floor). Beyond our physical facilities, designed to ensure confidentiality and well-being, we also offer online care throughout Brazil and for Brazilians living abroad, maintaining the same standards of technical rigor and clinical care.
